On August 28, a devastating storm swept through Cremona, causing extensive damage to the exhibition centre. What followed was an extraordinary race against time: just 30 days to rebuild, restore and get everything ready for the next major events.
“We set ourselves an ambitious deadline: September 28. Looking at the damage that day, it was hard to imagine we could turn things around so quickly. But here we are, just days away from that deadline, and thanks to an incredible collective effort, Cremona Fiere is ready to welcome visitors and exhibitors again, with facilities that are, in many ways, even better than before.”

With the International Music Fair opening on October 2, there was no time to lose.
“This was never going to be an easy task. Several exhibition halls had suffered extensive damage, and we had to bring together around 15 different companies, all working side by side on an incredibly tight schedule. Everyone stepped up. From Cremona Fiere to the contractors and every single person involved, the commitment has been extraordinary. That’s what made this possible.”
